5W20 engine oil from ADDINOL
SAE class 5W20 engine oils consist of fully synthetic base oils and selected additives. The reduced HTHS viscosity ensures measurable fuel savings. All 5W20 oils have excellent low-temperature behaviour. In addition, they ensure a stable oil film at all operating temperatures. Convince yourself of our products. With our Oilfinder you can check which 5W20 oil is suitable for your car. Some oils are suitable for cars with LSPI problems.

5W20 Meaning
The term 5W20 describes the SAE class according to which the engine oils were specified. They are multigrade oils with very good flow properties at low temperatures. 5W means that the oil is suitable for winter temperatures down to -35 °C. At these cold temperatures the oil is still pumpable and can spread in the whole engine. The second part of the SAE class description, the figure '20', refers to the kinematic viscosity at 100 °C. At these temperatures it contains a range of at least 6.9 - 9.2 mm²/s. Due to the reduced HTHS viscosity, the engine oils have an excellent fuel saving potential and thus also contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions. The engine is protected to the maximum and remains operational for a long time.
