On request, we can also develop special lubricants for your individual needs.

Mining involves extreme operating conditions such as high loads, strong vibrations, dust, moisture and very high or low temperatures. Special mining lubricants are designed to function reliably under these conditions and protect machines from premature wear, corrosion and breakdowns.

Typically, industrial oils (e.g. gear and hydraulic oils), lubricating greases, chain oils and special lubricants are used. The choice depends on the application, the load and the ambient conditions.

Mining lubricants feature reinforced additive packages, higher pressure absorption capacity (EP properties) and improved resistance to dust, water and ageing. This gives them a significantly longer service life and greater operational reliability.

Yes. Strict regulations apply in mining with regard to environmental and occupational safety. Biodegradable or environmentally friendly lubricants are often used in sensitive areas. We have developed the ADDINOL NatureProof range for this purpose. Underground, lubricants must also meet special fire hazard requirements.

Although high-performance lubricants may have higher purchase costs, they often reduce overall costs through longer service life, lower lubricant consumption, reduced maintenance and lower energy costs.
