10W60 engine oil from ADDINOL

Our engine oil is a low-viscosity oil of the SAE class 10W-60. The special performance is achieved by combining high-quality base oils of the latest synthesis technology with specially optimised additives. Due to the extreme viscosity range, the oil offers more safety under extreme and long-lasting engine loads. Our 10W60 oil was developed for all sporty high-tech engines. It supports modern passenger car gasoline and diesel engines as well as motorcycles with air and water-cooled four-stroke engines in road and off-road operation. The smooth-running character of the oil ensures measurable fuel savings. With our Oilfinder you can check if the 10W60 oil is suitable for your car.

10W60 Meaning

The 10W60 engine oil complies with the SAE class according to which it was specified. It is a multigrade oil with very good flow properties even at lower temperatures. It also guarantees a stable lubricating film at very high operating temperatures. The viscosity of the engine oil thus remains stable over a wide temperature range. The oils can therefore be used all year round. 10W means that the oil is suitable for winter temperatures down to -30 °C. A good cold start behaviour is given up to these low temperatures. The second part of the SAE class designation, the number "60", indicates the kinematic viscosity at 100 °C. For 10W60 oil, this is in the range of at least 21.9 - 26.0 mm²/s. This ensures that all oil properties are maintained under all operating conditions of high-performance engines.
