Properties of silicone greases

Silicone greases are odourless, tasteless and non-toxic. They have a high temperature resistance and a high viscosity index. The greases reliably repel water, vapours and even most acids or alkalis. A good compatibility with plastics and elastomers is also given.

Areas of application for silicone greases

Silicone greases are suitable for long-term lubrication of various industrial equipment, even at high temperatures and under aggressive environmental influences. Due to their compatibility with food and beverages, they can be used in the food and pharmaceutical industries. For example, armatures, taps and seals in the beverage industry can be lubricated with it. However, silicone grease is also used for the maintenance-free long-term lubrication of devices in precision mechanics, optics and consumer electronics or in the field of automotive accessory units and aviation.
