Liquid grease and gear grease by ADDINOL

Greases of NLGI (National Lubricating Grease Institute) classes 0, 00 and 000 are commonly referred to as liquid greases. The NLGI classes are classified according to DIN ISO 2137 depending on the cone penetration. Like other greases, liquid greases contain a combination of a base oil, a thickener and selected additives.

Typical applications for liquid greases are:

  • Lubrication of open or closed gears
  • Central lubrication systems for commercial vehicles
  • Gear units which are unsuitable for splash lubrication with oil due to their sealing conditions
  • Lubrication of closed plain bearings and roller bearings
