Gear oils according to CLP 68 are suitable for use in presses, closed industrial gears, sliding bearings and roller bearings.

Our CLP 68 gear oils convince with the following properties:

  • Excellent scuffing load capacity
  • Good wear protection behaviour
  • Excellent corrosion protection
  • Foam suppression
  • Good water separation
  • Longer machine service life
  • Compatibility with seals and paints

CLP 68 meaning

The designation CLP 68 is made up of the letters CLP from DIN Standard 51517 for industrial gear oils and ISO VG Class 68, which specifies the viscosity of the gear oil. ISO VG class 68 oils have a kinematic viscosity at 40 °C in the range 61.2 to 74.8 mm²/s. Compared to other gear oils, the lubricant is therefore lowly viscous and more suitable for medium loads.
