CLP 320 gear oil
Gear oil with the code letters CLP is described according to the standard DIN 51502 and specified by the requirement standard DIN 51517. The gear oils of ADDINOL exceed the required limit values of the standards. CLP 320 gear oils are zinc-free and consist primarily of mineral oils and selected additives. They lubricate reliably at operating temperatures up to 100 °C.

The gear oils are suitable for the lubrication of closed industrial gears with spur, bevel and worm gearing as well as gears with splash and circulation lubrication. Some oils can also be used for simple hydraulic systems.
Our CLP 320 gear oils have the following properties:
- Excellent scuffing load capacity
- Good wear protection behaviour
- Corrosion protection
- Foam suppression
- Water separation
- Increases machine service life
CLP 320 viscosity
The viscosity of CLP 320 is in accordance with ISO VG Class 320. For ISO VG Class 320, the kinematic viscosity of the oil at 40 °C is between 288 and 352 mm²/s. The centre viscosity is therefore 320 mm²/s. CLP 320 is comparatively viscous and can therefore meet the extreme requirements of industrial gear units. The lubricating film remains stable under the highest loads. At room temperature, the oil is similarly viscous to gel or shampoo.
