Fiat 9.55535 S1 approval for engine oils
The frequently requested Fiat engine oil specification 9.55535 S1 applies to turbocharged petrol and diesel engines. It requires long-life oil for change intervals of up to 30,000 kilometres or every two years. The engines are subject to the Euro 5 standard. A value of 2.9-3.5 mPas is prescribed as the HTHS viscosity. The viscosity class of the oils corresponds to SAE 5w30.
