Hardening oil of ADDINOL

The hardening oil of ADDINOL is an oxidation resistant mineral oil raffinate which is characterised by a narrow boiling range and a low vapour pressure. It is suitable for hardening alloyed tools and steel blades due to its favourable cooling capacity. This enables you to achieve an excellent surface finish on your workpieces. Ideally, it is used in closed furnace systems with integrated oil quenching bath under vacuum conditions. The viscosity is relatively low at 29 mm²/s at 40 °C. The flash point of the hardening oil is 200 °C.
