Cutting oil by ADDINOL

The cutting oils of ADDINOL belong to the non-water miscible cooling lubricants. They are mainly used in metal cutting. The lubricants reduce friction in the working process, dissipate heat, prevent corrosion by the oil film and also remove chips from the machining area with constant oil supply. As a result, the workpieces achieve a high surface quality. At the same time, the tools remain usable for a long time. Dry cutting generates considerably more heat, which is only dissipated slowly. In addition, chips accumulate in the deformation zone. The workpieces thus have a lower quality compared to production with cutting oil.
