CLP 680 gear oil

Gear oil with the code letters CLP is specified according to the requirements standard DIN 51517. ADDINOL gear oils fully meet the requirements of CLP oils. CLP 680 gear oils are zinc-free and consist mainly of mineral oils and selected additives. They lubricate reliably at operating temperatures up to 100 °C.

The gear oils are suitable for the lubrication of closed industrial gears with spur, bevel and worm gearing as well as gears with splash and circulation lubrication. Some oils can also be used for simple hydraulic systems.

Our CLP 680 gear oils have the following properties:

  • Excellent scuffing load capacity
  • Good wear protection behaviour
  • Corrosion protection
  • Foam suppression
  • Water separation
  • Long service life of the oil fillings

CLP 680 viscosity

The viscosity of CLP 680 is based on ISO VG Class 680, according to which the kinematic viscosity of the oil at 40 °C may be between 612 and 748 mm²/s. The centre viscosity is 680 mm²/s. CLP 680 is highly viscous. It reliably defies the extreme operating conditions in industrial gear units. The lubricating film remains stable under the highest loads.
