New FoodProof cleaners

The use of lubricants in sensitive areas, such as food and beverage industry, presents a particular challenge in development between performance and the limited use of raw materials and additives. The same applies to the use of cleaners in sensitive areas. In order to offer our customers an efficient as well as safe solution for the cleaning of surfaces and plant components in the future, the FoodProof range is extended by two high-performance intensive cleaners. ADDINOL FoodProof Uni Cleaner and ADDINOL FoodProof Special Cleaner are aqueous-based detergents and cleaners which, due to their NSF A1 registration (running), can be used on all surfaces in and around food processing areas which are not intended for direct contact with food. Both FoodProof cleaners are ready-to-use solutions.

ADDINOL FoodProof Uni Cleaner is an aqueous, alkaline intensive cleaner which safely removes vegetable and mineral oil and grease residues as well as residues of proteins, release agents, dusts, waxes, fresh colours and pigment dyes due to its cleaning power. The excellent penetrating and adhesive power increases the exposure time and enhances the effect of dissolving the finest particles. Even the dissolving of solid deposits is possible by using ADDINOL FoodProof Uni Cleaner. Loosened deposits are enclosed, kept in suspension and thus cannot accumulate again.

ADDINOL FoodProof Uni Cleaner enables reliable cleaning even at difficult spots due to optimum adhesion. By application by means of a suitable spray head the active foam adheres even to vertical surfaces and thus guarantees an optimal cleaning performance. The cleaner can be diluted with water up to a ratio of 1:40. With the use of water viscosity and foam tendency decrease. With ADDINOL FoodProof Uni Cleaner steel and stainless steel surfaces can be cleaned, aluminium cannot. In food industry the surfaces have to be rinsed with water after cleaning.

ADDINOL FoodProof Special Cleaner is a low-foaming, aqueous, alkaline intensive cleaner which safely removes heavy soiling in production plants due to its cleaning power, especially in food industry. Even residues such as special greases, rubber abrasion, waxes, bitumen, oils or pastes are dissolved, enclosed by dispersants, held safely in suspension and thus cannot reattach. By skimming off the dissolved impurities floating on the cleaner the application time of the cleaner can be extended, e.g. in dip tanks. ADDINOL FoodProof Special Cleaner can be applied manually or mechanically. It is suitable for steel, stainless steel and aluminium surfaces. After cleaning, the surfaces in the food area should be rinsed with water.
