Industrial chains are among the components subject to the heaviest wear in modern production facilities. Many industrial applications operate within a moderate temperature range where no special high-temperature lubricant is required – what is needed instead is a high-performance and cost-effective solution that combines reliable wear protection, economical relubrication and a high level of operational safety at moderate temperatures.

With its high-performance chain oils ADDINOL Chain Control XT 100, 220 and 460, ADDINOL offers a newly developed lubricant solution for industrial chain applications that can withstand both high mechanical loads and elevated temperatures over the long term. The product range combines a modern, efficient semi-synthetic base oil formulation with high-performance additive technology to ensure optimum lubrication, maximum wear protection and long maintenance intervals.

Innovative formulation for the most demanding conditions

The innovative formulation of ADDINOL Chain Control XT ensures excellent thermal stability as well as outstanding lubricating, adhesive and penetrating properties. Thanks to the natural structure of the saturated ester components, the lubricant reduces friction, particularly on metallic surfaces, and promotes a robust, long-lasting lubricating film. In addition, a high-performance additive package improves protection against ageing and corrosion and increases mechanical load-bearing capacity.

Excellent temperature behaviour

A key feature of the product range is its high resistance to ageing. Thanks to its thermal and oxidative stability, the lubricant remains effective for a long time even at increased temperatures. At the same time, evaporation losses are significantly reduced, thereby lowering lubricant consumption. Furthermore, ADDINOL Chain Control XT is characterised by a low tendency to form residues. Deposits on chains, rollers or guide elements are prevented, and maintenance requirements and cleaning intervals are reduced.

ADDINOL Chain Control XT perfectly completes the ADDINOL range of chain oils for use at lower temperatures:

• Contact temperatures between -20 °C and +150 °C
• Short-term temperature peaks up to +200 °C
