Assortment for classics expanded

The hours of sunshine are increasing, the days are getting longer. High time to get the old treasures out of the garages. Before the first drive after the winter break, however, the classic cars should be checked and made fit for the first drive. In addition to a thorough cleaning, both inside and out, the engine oil, coolant and tyre pressure should be checked before the first kilometres. If there is a noticeable loss of fluid, the lines and seals should be checked and replaced if necessary.

Oldtimer, Vintage cars

Since last year the ADDINOL Legends series provides the right engine oil for young and oldtimers of any age. From the unalloyed oils ADDINOL Legends M 30 and M 50 for classics built before 1930 to the mildly alloyed oils ADDINOL Legends 10W-30 and 15W-40 for vehicles with or without oil filter from the 50s to the 70s up to the more modern additivated oils ADDINOL Legends 10W-40 and 20W-50 for classics from the 70s on – the right engine oil for every legend.

At the beginning of the season the engine oils of the Legends series get a new member. With ADDINOL Legends 2T MZ 405 a two-stroke engine oil is now available. Thus the well-known product ADDINOL Super Mix MZ 405 changes its garment and finds its place in the Legends range with a proven formula. For air- and water-cooled two-stroke engines with high thermal load, such as the cult mopeds of the brand SIMSON, the recommendation is now: ADDINOL Legends 2T MZ 405.

Besides the transmission oils for passenger cars of the past decades (ADDINOL Legends GL 80W, GL 90 and GL 140 and ADDINOL Legends ATF) the second new member, ADDINOL Legends GL 250, is a suitable transmission oil for buses, trucks and tractors of older design. With its mild alloy the mineral oil-based transmission oil is designed for the lubrication of non-hypoid geared axle drives at medium to higher specific loads and thus offers reliable corrosion and wear protection as well as very good non-ferrous metal and seal compatibility. The gear oil with the particularly high viscosity is used for cardan and differential gears of historical fire brigades, agricultural equipment, construction machinery or military vehicles.
