Product description
ADDINOL Belt Lube HT 260 is a high-temperature chain lubricant adjusted to the belt and chain lubrication in most modern, high-performance press lines for the production of wood-based panels.
Due to its fully synthetic components combined with an optimally adjusted additive ADDINOL Belt Lube HT 260 has an extremely high temperature and ageing stability, low evaporation properties and offers the best possible protection and efficient operation of all lubricated assemblies.
APPLICATION
• Preferably used for the lubrication of thermally highly loaded friction pairings at pressing production lines operating continuously, e.g. production of plates and fibre-boards:
- particle boards
- medium- and high-density fibre boards
- oriented strand fibre boards
up to 250 °C as well as short-term peak temperatures up to 270 °C in the middle heating zone
• Also, highly suitable for lubricating the chains for transporting the roller carpet of the press lines.
CHARACTERISTICS
• Highest thermal and oxidative stability
• Very low tendency to form residues and varnishes at friction points
• Extremely low evaporation loss
• Optimized compatibility with process chemicals
• Outstanding protection against friction and wear at various loads and sliding speeds
• Works against unwanted stick-slip characteristics (Anti-Stick-Slip)
• Outstanding lubricating, adhesive and penetrating characteristics, very low friction resistance
• Very good corrosion protection of steel and non-ferrous metals
• Not harmful to environment, non-toxic, free of solids, miscible with typical competitive products
ADVANTAGES AND BENEFITS
• Applicable at maximum productivity and highest operating temperatures
• Does not form deposits or sticky and solid residues, minimizes and reduces build up due to process residues on friction linings, chains and pins
• Cost saving by reduction of oil consumption
• Minimizes reactions with glues, release agents or water vapor, avoids unnecessary residue formation
• Reduces effect of peak loads on mechanically stressed components and reduces slippage and wear
• Reduces spinning or dripping, achieves optimum formation of a stable lubricant film and sufficient lubricant film thickness
• Protects especially chains and pins from corrosive material attack against unavoidable environmental influences
• Environmentally friendly
Preferable application by centralised lubrication systems, dripping oilers, manual or by sump lubrication.
Dosage and lubrication intervals depend on chain and plant construction as well as operating conditions.
