Product description

ADDINOL Heat transfer oil XW 15 HT is a thermally stable, synthetic heat transfer fluid based on isomeric dibenzyltoluene.

APPLICATION

• Excellent suitability as heat transfer medium in closed heating systems as well as in combined heating-cooling systems with forced circulation
• Applicable at a maximum flow temperature up to +350°C and a maximum film temperature up to +380°C
• Suitable in applications where direct heating is impossible, e.g. distillation plants, synthetic resin production, heat exchanger in process plants, polymerization boilers or during heat recovery
• Particular suitability for careful and/or safe heating of dangerous or sensitive substances
• Long-term application also at high and permanent thermal loads

PLEASE NOTE !

To avoid oxidative damages of the heat transfer oil, the compensation reservoir should be filled with an inert gas (typically with nitrogen).

A nitrogen atmosphere is absolutely necessary at application temperatures around the flash point (please see chart on the back).

Please consider product compatibility during the product changeover! The used oil should be drained completely from the system. If necessary, flush the system with the new product.
