Product description

ADDINOL Ropeshield DF is an anti-corrosion grease for lubrication and preservation of steel and steel-aluminum ropes. The product can also be used as a protective grease for electrical wiring systems (such as overhead electrical cables).

Service temperature range from -30°C up to +150°C.

APPLICATION

•    ADDINOL Ropeshield DF has good thermal stability and is water repellent.
•    Protects against exposure of aggressive gases and liquid media like sea-, salt- and rainwater.
•    Reliable corrosion protection also for copper and brass parts and for connecting elements between aluminum and aluminum-copper parts as well.
•    The protective film formed by ADDINOL Ropeshield DF remains flexible even at low temperatures down to -30°C.

REMARK - A product compatibility test is recommended before serial application. Optimum processing temperature is between 20°C and 30°C.
