Product description
ADDINOL Eco Gear GLS 75 W 90 and GLS 75 W 110 are silicone free
high-performance gear oils based on synthetic components with highest
scuffing load and load carrying capacity. The oils comply with API GL-5
for gear sets in rail applications, especially at critical or varying
operating conditions.
Temperature range from -30°C up to +120°C, short term temperature peak +150°C.
APPLICATIONS
• Long-term lubrication of gear sets and axle drives in locomotives and rail cars with diesel or electronic traction
• Spur gears, planetary gears and bevel gears with and without axle offset
• Travel gears, winch systems and cable transmissions
• Industrial final drives, wheel hub gears, axle drives and track drive gear motors
SPECIAL OPERATING CONDITIONS
• In particular for the application under unstable, changing lubrication conditions, direction changes and swivel movements
•
Lubrication and protection of toothed parts and roller bearings also
at low speed and short-term shut-downs under partial and full load
• Compensate temperature peaks due to strong mixed friction conditions caused by short-term mechanical overload
• Minimise tribocorrosion
CHARACTERISTICS
• Load carrying capacity (EP) on API GL-5 level
• Long-lasting wear protection (AW) under permanent loads
• Best corrosion protection towards steel and non-ferrous metals also at increased temperatures
• Reduction of friction coefficient and power loss
• Excellent ageing and oxidation protection
• Synthetic base oil components without VI improvers
• Outstanding interfacial properties
• Free of solid particles and silicone
ADVANTAGES AND BENEFITS
•
Provides long-term reserves for load carrying capacity under mixed and
boundary friction – in particular at high sliding contact
• Reduction of abrasion; effective wear decrease at toothed parts and roller bearings
• Substantial service life extension of machine parts and industrial plants
• Lower thermal loads of all gear components by reducing oil sump temperature
•
Significant increase of lubricant lifetime and extension of oil change
intervals – in particular at high operating temperatures
• High shear stability for a reliable lubrication film over a long period
• Low tendency for foam formation ensures smooth operation
• No restrictions for an application in roller and sliding bearings as well as filter elements and centrifuges
