Product description

ADDIFLON Fluid 500 is a special colourless and odourless PFPE oil (PFPE = PerFluoroPolyEther). This fully synthetic fluid is non-flammable, highly temperature and oxidation resistant, and provides a high resistance against a wide variety of liquid and/or gaseous chemicals (except of fluorinated solvents).
This product provides very good compatibility with metals, plastics, elastomers and sealing materials.

Service temperature: -15°C to +290°C

APPLICATION

• Suited for lubrication of bearings, chains and joints subjected to high temperatures and/or aggressive environments.
• Also suitable for lubrication of O-rings, pivot pins, hinges, springs, bushes and grommets.
• Application manually or with automated lubrication systems by wiping, dipping, dripping or spraying.
• At temperatures above +290°C, the products underlies thermal degradation. In result irritative and/or toxic compounds can be formed. Under those circumstances an inhalation must be avoided.
