Dear customers, dear partners,

A challenging and exciting year 2021 has passed by. As with ADDINOL in business life, each of you certainly also had to overcome some difficulties in the still ongoing pandemic. We hope that you have mastered all problems and, above all, are still healthy. We would also like to thank you all for your loyalty and support over the past months. Together we were able to achieve a stable development and can now look back on a successful business year. ADDINOL is well prepared for the new year.

85 years ADDINOL

The year 2021 was also our 85th company anniversary. We still produce our high-performance lubricants in Germany and are proud of our “Made in Germany” quality. We would have liked to celebrate this anniversary with our partners as well. Unfortunately, a meeting in June 2021 was not possible due to the various travel restrictions. We hope to be able to make up for our international partner meeting in June 2022 in Bologna, Italy.

In development, our focus was and still is on high-quality industrial lubricants. This includes, for example, our high-performance gear oils of the ADDINOL ECO GEAR series and also our high-temperature chain oils which are used in many industrial plants worldwide. Another focus is the continuous further development of our gas engine oils. In field tests at many well-known manufacturers, we always strive for the optimum formula for each gas type and all conditions.

The developments in the automotive industry are advancing rapidly and the ADDINOL product range also offers the suitable lubricants for new specifications and increased requirements. The trend is strongly towards low-viscosity engine oils of the classes SAE 0W20 or even 0W16 with high fuel efficiency and low emission for new registrations. The ADDINOL LEGENDS series was added to the product range for the classic cars.

What 2022 has in store for us

In addition to the already mentioned partner conference, which hopefully can take place in June, 2022 is all about expansion. In order to meet the increased demand for ADDINOL lubricants, we have already installed larger oil tanks at Leuna in 2019. With a new warehouse, which is scheduled to start operations in spring 2022, we will significantly expand our storage capacities and be able to further optimise the logistical processes. A photovoltaic system will be installed on the roof of the new warehouse, which will cover one third of our electricity requirements in the future.
