ADDINOL will once again be represented at Africa’s most prestigious mining trade fair in 2026. Mining Indaba will take place from 9th to 12th February 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa. ADDINOL at PLASTINDIA 2026
PLASTINDIA is an important trade fair for the plastics industry, which will take place from 5th to 10th February 2026 in New Delhi, India. New transmission oil for limited-slip differentials
ADDINOL Transmission Oil GH 79 LS is a semi-synthetic transmission oil with limited-slip additives that complements the LS series. With SAE class 75W-90, it offers optimum lubrication properties even at low temperatures and in colder climates.
ADDINOL Transmission Oil GH 79 LS was developed especially for the requirements of machinery in agriculture and forestry as well as in the construction sector and for haulage companies, particularly in colder regions. Compared to GH 90 LS it offers significantly better low-temperature properties and with this ensures reliable lubrication and outstanding protection of transmission components even in other climate zones. GH 79 LS Transmission Oil is particularly suitable for self-locking differentials, but also for drives and axles with and without hypoid gears.

Special phosphorus-sulphur additives reduce noise and prevent unwanted vibrations in self-locking differentials. Antiwear and anti-corrosion additives also ensure optimum protection of transmission components, even under high loads.
With GH 79 LS Transmission Oil, maintenance intervals can be significantly extended and the number of oil grades in stock is reduced thanks to its wide range of applications.

The Biogas Convention & Trade Fair in Nuremberg is the most important industry gathering for operators, manufacturers, and service providers in the biogas and biomethane sector. As the leading trade fair, it offers a comprehensive overview of current market trends, technical innovations, and practical solutions for sustainable energy production.

Renowned Finnish construction equipment manufacturer Junttan has successfully tested and approved the hydraulic fluid ADDINOL NatureProof HLP EL 46 and will even use it as a first-fill product in its machines in the future. Junttan thus confirms not only the outstanding technical performance but also the sustainable orientation of this innovative hydraulic oil.
Sustainability meets top performance
Junttan is a leading Finnish manufacturer of hydraulic hammers, drilling rigs, and pile driving equipment and is known worldwide for its reliable pile foundation technology. As an OEM, Junttan specializes in the development, manufacture, and worldwide distribution of hydraulic pile driving technology. Every construction project has its own specific characteristics, and depending on the type of soil, there can be significant differences in the execution of pile foundations.
By using biodegradable ADDINOL hydraulic oil, users benefit from maximum performance, operational reliability, and sustainable future viability. NatureProof HLP EL achieved excellent results in the demanding wet brakes of pile driving technology. The wet brake ensures that the enormous masses and impact energies of the machines are slowed down or stopped in a controlled manner. The inclusion is part of the annual ranking ‘The 500 Secret World Market Leaders’ published by WirtschaftsWoche magazine in collaboration with the University of St. Gallen (HSG). Innovative strength as the basis for success

Siemens approval for Eco Gear GLS
With the official approval of the Eco Gear GLS lubricant, Siemens Traction Gears is setting an important benchmark for the lubrication of its gearboxes. Eco Gear GLS 75 W 90 and GLS 75 W 110 are the first wheel set gearbox oils available in two SAE grades, enabling more efficient and flexible use in modern rail vehicles. Eco Gear GLS also impresses with its high performance, longer maintenance intervals and improved energy efficiency. It thus contributes to more economical and reliable operation.
The approval for Eco Gear GLS 75 W 90 and GLS 75 W 110 covers all Siemens wheel set gear types (formerly Flender T7302) and highlights both the technological innovation of Siemens Traction Gears and the high technological quality and reliability of ADDINOL lubricants. Thanks to their formulation tailored to wheel set gearboxes, ADDINOL Eco Gear GLS 75 W 90 and 75 W 110 ensure lower friction losses, reduced wear on the gearboxes and consistently high transmission performance in rail vehicles.

ADDINOL Eco Gear GLS 75 W 90 and GLS 75 W 110 are silicone-free, synthetic high-performance gear oils for wheel set and axle gearboxes in railway applications. They offer maximum load-bearing capacity at API GL-5 level, long-lasting wear and corrosion protection in a wide operating temperature range from -30 °C to +120 °C. At the same time, they have been proven to improve drive efficiency in both extremely cold and very high temperatures. They reduce operating and maintenance costs through significantly extended mileage and service life. The highperformance gear oils also impress under extreme loads and overloads with constant performance and low-noise power transmission – an advantage particularly in urban rail transport. Thanks to their optimised friction characteristics and stable lubricating film formation, they have been proven to reduce wear and increase the long-term operational reliability of the gearboxes.
Eco Gear GLS is approved by AS Drives, Siemens Traction Gears GmbH and Voith Turbo. Furthermore, ADDINOL has been audited and listed as Q1-certified by DB, ÖBB and SBB.
ADDINOL engine oils meet the new API SQ and ILSAC GF-7 approvals
With the introduction of the new API SQ standard and ILSAC GF-7 specification, the engine oil industry is setting new global standards for engine protection, fuel efficiency and environmental compatibility. These standards take into account the increasing demands of modern drive technologies – from downsizing and turbo engines to hybrid vehicles.
ADDINOL responded to this development at an early stage and has adapted several products in its successful engine oil series accordingly: Economic 016, Economic 020, Economic 0520 and Premium 0530 DX1. The new formulations meet the requirements of the current American Petroleum Institute approval. ADDINOL is thus underlining its technological leadership and offering lubricants that are optimally tailored to the engines of the future.

Focus on efficiency and sustainability
The new API SQ specification prioritises optimised fuel efficiency, improved LSPI protection, higher cleaning performance and reduced ash formation. ADDINOL engine oils thus contribute to more efficient and longer-lasting engine operation. A central goal of API SQ is to increase fuel efficiency by up to 16% compared to the previous API SP standard. ADDINOL engine oils stand for maximum performance, first-class wear protection and maximum fuel efficiency – even under extreme operating conditions. They reduce LSPI (low-speed pre-ignition) risks, keep engines clean and ensure stable lubricating films even at high temperatures and long oil change intervals. At the same time, they are optimally matched to modern exhaust aftertreatment systems and thus make an important contribution to reducing emissions.
At the end of March 2025, the corresponding ILSAC GF-7 specification came into the market, which focuses on efficiency and sustainability. ADDINOL engine oils also meet these requirements – with up to 2% additional fuel savings, improved timing chain protection, longer ageing stability, increased LSPI safety and full compatibility with hybrid and start-stop systems.
