ADDINOL TSM 401 Spray is a dispersion based on solid lubricant particles of molybdenum disulphide. During application, a solid, dry lubricating film forms after only a short time. The solid lubricant MoS2 protects against running-in damage and provides good emergency running properties.
APPLICATION
It is suitable for dry lubrication of the following applications and components:
• Forming, punching, cold drawing
• Sliding guides and sliders for casting furnaces and moulds
• screw connections
• Protection of surfaces against fretting corrosion
• Particularly suitable for pressure-loaded sliding points.
• Optimally applicable for base and thin film lubrication at high pressures and temperatures.
• Ideally suited for larger sliding surfaces and hard-to-access areas such as bores, threads and gear rims.
• Very suitable for the priming of motion gains (threaded spindles), supports, guides and slideways to prevent jerking.
• Suitable for lubrication of difficult non-cutting cold forming of metals.
• Suitable for the lubrication of hot screw connections, e.g. on gear wheels, valves, chains or shafts.

HANDLING
